Turning A “Mundane” Story Into The Heroic Video It Deserved.

What We Did

CA produced Brick Education’s Covid Response Video as part of their larger, multi-camera live fundraiser

The challenge for this project was that the story was, on its face, not dramatic. It did however illustrate the extraordinary way in which The Brick Education Network takes a 360° approach to supporting their student’s scholarship, and to enabling their student’s families to support their student’s scholarship as well.

Via creative storytelling and playful but purposeful use of motion graphic imagery CA was able to turn the story of an air filter into an engaging, heartfelt video about a boy, his mother and their extended Brick family that would go to any length to support their students.

The Client

Referred by a previous client, The Brick Education Network came to Collective Agency to produce their June 2021 virtual fundraiser, Brick By Brick. Conceived of as a launching pad for their upcoming $10 million dollar capital campaign the virtual fundraiser was designed to showcase the three fundamental tenets of the Brick Education Network.

The production was structured so that the livestream video could be edited into multiple short clips, each of which could be used independently to showcase a different aspect of the Brick Education Network to high net-worth donors.
